I was born and raised in a small town, Apple Valley, Minnesota. I arrived in Hollywood in a car that literally broke down half way to Hollywood. I came with not much more than hope, a warm smile, and a fun Midwestern personality….quickly realizing I wasn’t the only girl from the Heartland who came to Hollywood with a big dream.
Hollywood turned out to be completely different than I ever could have imagined. Determined to fulfill my aspiration of Hollywood stardom, I endured 6 hour casting calls, rejection, and disappointment.
I learned that an overnight success can take ten years or a lifetime. That Hollywood Blvd is nearly a street away from skid row and no celebrity actually lives in the heart of Hollywood. In fact, I had a better chance of getting struck by lightning than actually seeing Brad Pitt walking down Hollywood Blvd.
Through my trials and errors, I have learned that there is a code to Hollywood. If you follow this website, Hollywood Holland will teach you how to survive and thrive wherever you live.
